Oslo Cathedral Boys Choir (Norway)

Oslo Cathedral Boys Choir was founded in 1985 by Terje Kvam and Carl Hogset. However this was not the first boyschoir in Oslo Cathedral's history. During the 19th century, the Peblingene (Choirschool) sang at services in the Cathedral. Later on in the 20th century Arild Sandvold formed a boyschoir called Oslo Domkor which sang in the Cathedral until ca. 1940. The choir paticipates in services and musical performances at Oslo Cathedral. As well as arranging and performing its own concerts, it also performs with other choirs on a national and international level. The choir has performed together with tthe Norwegian Opera and Oslo Philharmonic.
