Haags Matrozenkoor (Netherlands)

The Haags Matrozenkoor (The Hague's sailor-boys choir) was founded in 1928.
Originally a church boyschoir, it has become a much sought-after choir performing concerts both at home and abroad. The repertoire consists of both classical and modern music, as well as sacred and secular music and folkmusic.
It has become an Easter tradition to perform the Matthew passion of Bach in various towns.
