The Saaremaa Poistekoor was founded by Ludmilla Toon in Kuressaare in 1985. There was a concert choir and 3 preparatory choirs with choristers as young as 6. The boys in the concert choir, aged between the age of 8 and 17 rehearse twice a week. The SATB concert choir has performed in many counttries throughout Europe and offers a lot of events for the boys. Since the season of 1994/1995 The choir is under the direction of conductor Veikko Lehto and assistent Mari Ausmees.
